Social Media Strategy and management to increase social outreach

Owners Jane and Anthony run a busy working farm alongside their glamping and camping site. They wanted to increase their social reach on both Facebook and Instagram and frankly did not have the time to do this on a regular, content managed basis.

We set about designing a series of images and offers that would help us to implement a clear strategy to promote not only the pods, but also the camp site and the surrounding area. We conducted an Instagram audit and hashtag research to try and ensure a boost in organic reach which would also support any paid advertising we may implement.

Background

Bradley Hall Rural Escapes began offering their luxury countryside holidays in 2018. Located across  106 acres there is a 5 pitch caravan site and 5 luxury glamping pods. Surrounded by beautiful Cheshire countryside, the place has a lot to offer.

Challenge

After attending one of our courses on the basics of Website Design and SEO, Jane from Bradley Hall contacted the team and asked for some help with social media. We were particularly excited by this project as Moxie are keen travelers and holiday makers!  

Bradley Hall had a good website and a wealth of content  to share with their social audience. The biggest problem was not only finding the time to actually post content, but also expand the likes and comments beyond friends and family.

Solution

We created a simple and cost effective content plan that would help ensure consistent messaging across key times and days with some paid boosts of certain posts along the way.

Alongside the hashtag research and report for Instagram we began to see an increase across both social channels. Within the first two weeks of our starting the strategy the Instagram profile saw an increase of over 10% in followers, accounts reached increased by 148% to 3,961 and post  reach increased from 174 to greater than 2,437 within the first month.

Facebook organic reach rose from around 400 people reached to over 2,000 with boosted posting increasing awareness and audience too.

Highlighting the surrounding areas attractions further helps position them as a the perfect location to explore the area. With places like Chester Zoo, Chester City Centre, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and North Wales on the door step it is not tough!
